如今終於在近期宣布第二張專輯名稱《Light Up the Dark》並釋出了同名單曲

與首張專輯《English Rain》有著民謠、抒情的曲風
Gabrielle 這次在〈Light Up The Dark〉的單曲創作上呈現了黑暗、搖滾的風格
從MV的陰暗戲劇性格調和歌曲張力帶點龐克元素，不難看出Gabrielle其實不再是〈Panic Cord〉裡的嬌小甜美女孩
而是成長為一位具有獨特風格和想法的，或者說是更貼近現實生活中的她！
早在〈Salvation〉時所帶給小編新奇的感受，更能發現其實Gabrielle在每首歌中都勇於呈現最真實的自己
且不希望因著現今的世俗風情而被綁手綁腳，小編也覺得勇於做自己的女性，所散發的魅力更是無法抗拒呀！
在這裡小編要小小澄清一下《Light Up The Dark》這張專輯並不全然如同名單曲屬於"搖滾"專輯。
5/18 Gabrielle在Twitter 舉辦了Q&A，而其中便有一題是
Q:新專輯是不是比較偏向於"搖滾"類型? 而其中給妳的啟發又是甚麼? (以下小編大略翻譯
A:有些單曲確實是比較搖滾，有些則又有屬於它不同的風格。
我想這並不是一張搖滾專輯，創作時只想讓它成為一張具有力量且充滿活力的專輯。
至於在歌詞中有一句【I will roll away the stone】
這句話其實有很深的涵義，小編覺得有必要讓大家知道(要不會讓大家覺得小編在亂亂翻XD
roll away the stone 白話翻譯就是滾動石頭
但這句話其實是出自於聖經新約 - 路加福音第24章，當耶穌被釘十字架死後遺體被安置於一座洞窟石墓
而洞窟的門口正有一塊大圓形石塊用來蓋住洞口。三天之後，當門徒去尋找耶穌的屍體時
他們發現了原本用來擋住石墓洞口的"石頭被移開了"而裏頭空空如也包括耶穌的遺體。
這就是聖經著名的【耶穌三天後從死裡復活】
拉回主題，依Gabrielle的想法，她是以光做為主題來詮釋她對歌曲本身Light Up The Dark的意境。

情境圖就像上述兩張圖，亮光投射進黑暗之處，照亮黑暗！
